Xpress TV, the Los Angeles-based Armenian and Russian entertainment that airs world wide, is one of the country’s pre-eminent suppliers of programming, creating a diverse portfolio of shows for syndication, network and cable. Xpress TV holds the distribution rights to television series, as well as film packages and specials.

The company has established itself as a leading developer, producer and distributor of top-quality television. Xpress TV has entered into a variety of distribution and production relationships with such major partners as DreamWorks SKG, FremantleMedia North America, Hearst Entertainment, and Debmar-Mercury.
Xpress TV is proud to distribute and manage advertiser sales for the off-network comedy strip “South Park,” in association with Debmar-Mercury and Comedy Central. “South Park,” created by Matt Stone and Trey Parker, is Comedy Central’s highest-rated series, and established the network as a prominent player in the cable arena with its cutting-edge original content.
In one of television’s most sought-after distribution deals, Xpress TV acquired the exclusive domestic broadcast syndication rights, including barter advertising sales, to the off-network seasons of television phenomenon “American Idol.” The weekly one-hour series, titled “American Idol Rewind,” includes original, never-before-seen episodes, and a lively new format. The agreement is a result of a multi-year relationship with FremantleMedia North America, and in association with 19 Entertainment.
Representing one of the largest domestic television distribution deals in the industry and first-ever syndication arrangement for DreamWorks SKG, Xpress TV holds the exclusive syndication and barter advertising sales rights to DreamWorks SKG’s highly coveted library of feature films. These prestigious films include Steven Spielberg’s masterful World War II epic “Saving Private Ryan,” “Gladiator” and “American Beauty” – both of which won five Oscars, including Best Picture – the animated box office hits “Shrek” and “Shrek 2” “and Steven Spielberg’s powerful masterpiece “War of the Worlds.”
Other first-run syndicated programming distributed by Xpress TV includes the venerable weekly series “Soul Train,” the long-running music and variety program that has launched the careers of countless performers, and the primetime 2-hour special, the “Soul Train Music Awards;” the FCC-friendly “DIC Kids’ Network,” a 3-hour block of highly competitive animated entertainment for children; “U.S. Farm Report,” from Farm Journal Media; and from Hearst Entertainment, weekly series “Ron Hazelton’s House Calls.”
Also recently acquired for E/I programming distribution are 3 first run weekly series: “Missing,” produced in cooperation with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, “Animal Rescue” and “Dog Tales,” all from Telco Productions.
Among the original dramas that Xpress TV distributes are the science fiction sensation “Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda,” “Mutant X,” and the action-adventure thriller “Beastmaster.” The library also includes action hours “Relic Hunter,” “Night Man,” “Gene Roddenberry’s Earth: Final Conflict,” and comedy “City Guys.”
In addition, Xpress TV oversees Xpress TV Studios, the historic studio lot in Hollywood that was once known as KTLA Studios, which the company thoroughly renovated and converted 7,000 square feet of soundstages to house complete state-of-the-art digital studios, making it the first all-digital studio lot in the United States. To restore the grandeur of the venerable lot, the major renovation also included the remodeling of all buildings located at the site, including “Tara,” the 60,000 square foot colonial building built in 1995 to serve as the headquarters of Warner Bros. Pictures. “Tara” houses Xpress TV’s corporate headquarters and extensive production office space for Xpress TV Studios tenants. Xpress TV also has offices in New York and Chicago.
